Mercenaries 2
•19 February, 2007 • Leave a CommentTwo new images of the game Mercaneries 2 today appeard before us! There’s not much known about this game right now but for the moment it’s developed by Pandemic Studios and is scheduled for a PLAYSTATION 3 release – hopefully this year. Most likely it will play like the first game – which is a free roaming game where you take on the role as a mercanery on various missions. The most interesting fact about this game is that the the enviroment is supposed to be fully destructable

Casino Royale for free
•12 February, 2007 • Leave a CommentDon’t we love it? Especially if you pay a lot more than those 599 € that the PLAYSTATION 3 cost in the rest of Europe. However, Sony has decided to give the first 500000 early adopters, a free copy of the film Casino Royale for free (if you register your PLAYSTATION 3 on their network)!
Here’s the official PR:
First 500,000 PS3 Registrants on PLAYSTATION®Network to be Rewarded with Casino Royale on Blu-ray
London, 12th February 2007 – Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) announced today that, in addition to the extensive line-up of games, the first 500,000 purchasers of PLAYSTATION®3 who registered on the PLAYSTATION®Network would receive a Blu-ray disc movie of Casino Royale, starring James Bond newcomer Daniel Craig.
Casino Royale, which has already grossed more than $560 million at the box office worldwide, and has established itself as the most successful Bond film of all time will debut on a 50GB dual-layer Blu-ray disc encoded in MPEG-4 AVC. With a ground breaking collection of added-value features in 1080P High Definition visual quality, and with uncompressed audio features for the best possible audio experience, Casino Royale not only demonstrates the exceptional visual quality of Full 1080P High Definition movies on Blu-ray disc, but is the perfect vehicle to highlight the broader entertainment credentials of the PLAYSTATION 3 system.
Explaining the offer, Darren Carter, VP Brand and Consumer Marketing said, “The PLAYSTATION®Network unlocks the broad range of interactive entertainment features of PLAYSTATION 3. It’s easy to set up, offers free online gaming, has great tools for staying in touch with friends and family, and includes a wide variety of content for download through the PLAYSTATION®Store.”
“All this, and more, will enable users to experience a whole new world of interactive entertainment, and that is why we are offering the phenomenal incentive of Casino Royale, on Blu-ray disc, to PS3 owners who register on the PLAYSTATION®Network. Casino Royale not only makes the most of the features and capabilities of the Blu-ray format, but is one of the most exciting and entertaining movies to debut on Blu-ray this year.”
EB Games confirming their price
•10 February, 2007 • Leave a CommentI checked with EB Games today and their price will be 6499:- SEK without anything extra whatsoever. I know it sounds like I’m sponsored by Webhallen, but there really isn’t a reason to get your PS3 anywhere else but from them right now.
PLAYSTATION 3 for 6199 SEK
•9 February, 2007 • Leave a CommentToday we have the first confirmed in store price for PLAYSTATION 3 in Sweden (I haven’t seen any store confirm their pricing yet. Do you know more? Tell us about them). Webhallen, one of the most well known stores carrying video games, has revealed that their price for PLAYSTATION 3 will be 6199 SEK. You even get a Blu-ray film (Resident Evil: Apocalypse), and a three months subscription to either Super PLAY or PC Gamer for free. It’s a pretty nice deal. Webhallen must take a serious hit with this price if they haven’t got a special price from Sony. You ought to support Webhallen with a game purchase or two if you get a PLAYSTATION 3 from them since they probably lose money on each sold PLAYSTATION 3 just for you. Just make sure that game you might buy isn’t a Nordisk Film game, using the CDON-method it’s easy to make sure that it isn’t.
Silence before the storm
•8 February, 2007 • Leave a CommentI haven’t updated the page in a couple of days. This is mainly due to lack of new interesting information to post. Do not think that I’m forgetting this, I’ll never do that! All I can say now is that as soon as I get my hands on some interesting information, like pricing, interesting information regarding games and so on… I will update the page to tell you about it. If YOU have anything you would like to see here. Just send us an e-mail. If you have any information you would like to share with us, just send us an e-mail!
I can’t ask you people too many times, but keep telling your friends and post on forums and other pages about this. We have to tell people that they’re about to get fooled by Nordisk Film!
Stay tuned!
Is it a Nordisk Film game or not?
•4 February, 2007 • Leave a CommentI found a very easy way to see if the game you’re interested in, is distributed by Nordisk Film or not. Here’s how you do it;
1. Go to http://www.cdon.com
2. Click on the flag which represent your country.
3. Search for the game you’re interested in.
4. When you’ve found the game, look at the bottom of the “fact box” and you’ll find the name of the distributor under “Support“.
Easy huh? And what do you do if that company is Nordisk Film? Well, you ought to know by now but I’ll tell you once again. DO NOT BUY IT in your country. If you want a PAL version (for some reason), buy it from either UK or Australia. I’m assuming that you’ll get German on your cover if you get a game from Germany so don’t do that!
